Since Dr. Tomono had worked as post-doctoral fellow at Tufts University Medical Center (Boston, MA, USA) and Dr. Hiroki had worked as post-doctoral fellow at Karolinska Institute (Stockholm, Sweden) when they were young, they can communicate with you in English.

History of TAKAHASHI CLINIC
Our clinic is located in the real center of Tokyo, HATCHOBORI, where DOUSHIN (SAMURAI POLICE) were living at EDO era.
This UKIYOE picture painted by famous UKIYOE artist HIROSHIGE UTAGAWA express the same place at EDO era where our clinic exists now.
Our grandfather Dr. Kiichi TAKAHASHI M.D., Ph.D. opened TAKAHASHI CLINIC at MEIJI era when Japan was opened to western world. After studying modern medicine at Bern University Hospital, Switzerland, he returned to Japan and opened TAKAHASHI CLINIC here in HATCHOBORI. Since that time, TAKAHASHI CLINIC has contributed to the health care of people living around here.
Our father Dr. Chiaki TAKAHASHI M.D, Ph.D. was interested in the health care of the foreigners who visited to Japan at SHOWA era when foreigners started to visit Japan as traveler. When travelers came from abroad became sick during their stay in Tokyo, he visited to the hotel where they stayed to cure their illness.
We succeed their will. Nowadays, TAKAHASHI CLINIC want to help the foreigners living or visting Japan who are suffered from illness. We are very happy to receive the consultation from the foreigners who need help for their health problem.
